Not only is awareness a central element to building organisational resilience, it can also help organisations constructively deal with issues that can lead to mental health challenges within a team.
Global Action
As of June 2021, WHO is reporting over 19.9 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 globally including 171,222,477 deaths.
As the Covid-19 pandemic escalated we asked our own people how we could stay engaged with them while also ensuring the messaging was balanced. As media coverage concentrated on the pandemic our people made it clear that it was hard to get a clear understanding of any positive work being done around vaccines.
Two of our team, Caroline Tsang and Jake Henry, came up with an idea to initiate a project to raise awareness on some of the amazing research being done globally, focusing on the measures that scientists and doctors around the world are taking to find treatments and vaccines.
They named this project Solas, an Irish word for light, and a play on light at the end of the tunnel.
Our Report
Well done to Caroline Tsang (Business Information Analyst) and Jake Henry (Business Executive) for their hard work on this project and thanks also to Pierre Caillot Dessources (Sales Manager) and Camille Michel (Commercial Manager) for their support in its delivery.
